AWOL Vision unveils LuxVision, a 4K 120Hz UST projector with optical shift
AWOL Vision unveiled at IFA 2026 the LuxVision, claiming it is the world's first 4K 120Hz UST projector with optical shift. It starts at $6,499 and ships around October.
The LuxVision is rated at 6,000 ISO lumens. AWOL said the combination of 4K 120Hz and optical shift is the key selling point, offering the smoother motion of a 120Hz display while keeping the living-room-friendly setup of a UST projector. The optical shift also gives users more freedom in positioning the image without compromising its 4K detail.
Projectors can deliver an extremely large picture, but traditional setups often require ceiling mounts, long cable runs and carefully calculated distances, making them less practical for ordinary living rooms. Ultra-short-throw projectors solve much of that by sitting just inches from the wall, and AWOL's new model aims to eliminate another compromise in this format.
