Baidu Dazi Unveils 'Delivery with Wow' Upgrade in Shanghai
Baidu Dazi upgrades all product lines with a 'delivery with wow' standard; MAU hits 6.74 million, up 1063.79% month-on-month.
According to Leiphone.com, an earlier AI product ranking showed Baidu Dazi had 6.743 million monthly active users, up 1063.79% month-on-month, ranking first in growth among AI office agents. Shen Dou, Baidu EVP and president of Baidu Intelligent Cloud, said that since its launch in March, Dazi has completed 150 iterations in five months, and user growth in the past month was nearly ninefold. "Rapid user growth shows the product hits user needs, but whether the experience is extremely polished and delivery is stunning determines whether users stay," Shen said.
Baidu identified fragmented data, frequent tool switching and heavy post-editing as major pain points in AI-based office work. Dazi's "delivery with wow" standard aims to make the execution process professional and the results substantive, expressive and ready to use, while allowing users to modify, take over and reuse outputs. To address multiple tasks being squeezed into a single chat window, Dazi now integrates Baidu Miaoda and Baidu Shengsuan, offering an application development and data analysis workbench. Users can generate web pages, mini programs or apps and continue editing design, features and layout, or obtain analysis reports with trends, rankings and key findings, each conclusion traceable to the underlying data and calculation process.
The professional suites tackle the lack of industry methodology and AI's tendency to complete only scattered steps. The self-media suite covers topic research, content creation, multi-platform publishing and operational review, helping creators produce text, images and video materials. The finance suite covers market insights, individual stock analysis, market monitoring and position analysis, integrating data sources such as Hithink Flush. Dazi also upgraded PPT and multimodal generation capabilities, allowing users to follow historical file styles or enterprise templates, and to generate data reports, web pages, posters, images, videos and more. Cross-device continuation synchronizes conversations, materials, progress and outputs between phones and computers. The new "Dazi Moments" feature supports sharing both results and the methods used to produce them, enabling mature workflows to be reused by other users.
Baidu Dazi Enterprise Edition, positioned around compliance, knowledge accumulation and security, released 15 suites and 96 skills covering four functional areas: finance and accounting, business and legal, product and R&D, and operations and HR. Enterprises can uniformly distribute workflows, templates and checklists, deposit excellent employee results and methods into a knowledge base, and ensure security through data isolation, permission controls and operation audits.
Dazi also introduced the Harness intelligent engine for task planning, tool invocation and execution. According to Baidu Dazi, the task completion rate exceeded 99% and token consumption dropped 30%. It released DuMateBench, described as the industry's first open collaborative benchmark for evaluating real delivery capability of agents, initially covering more than 200 real office tasks across multi-step and multi-tool collaboration scenarios. At the event, Dazi processed the entire livestream, cloud album and speech materials in real time, generating Xiaohongshu posts, promotional posters, articles and a live highlight video, demonstrating continuous content production and delivery around a single sustained task.
Domestic AI office desktop monthly active users are about 30 million. Based on the size of the traditional office software market, the AI office space is still roughly 20 times larger. As content production, financial research, application development and enterprise collaboration move into agent workflows, AI office is becoming an important application area for large models, according to Leiphone.com.
