Best Buy launches Labor Day sale with up to 64% off TVs, MacBooks and more
Best Buy's official Labor Day sale offers up to 64% off on TVs, MacBooks, laptops and more, running through Sept. 7 amid rising tech prices.
According to TechRadar, the sale went live Friday and expanded to a full-category event. The retailer is also offering appliance deals with up to 45 percent off and free delivery, backed by a price-match guarantee that promises to match any cheaper price from competitors. Laptops start at $119 and TVs at $69.99.
TechRadar highlighted the LG C6 OLED TV as the best TV of 2026, now at a record-low $1,499.99, down from $2,699.99. The 65-inch model features the Alpha 11 AI processor and improved brightness and contrast. Other notable TV deals include the Sony Bravia XR8B OLED at $2,499.99, the 75-inch Toshiba C350 4K Fire TV at $369.99, and a 50 percent discount on the 77-inch LG B5 OLED.
Apple products are also being discounted. The latest base iPad is $50 off at $399, the 13-inch MacBook Air M5 is $100 off, and AirTags are priced at $89. Headphone deals include $150 off Sony WH-1000XM5 and discounts on Bose QuietComfort Headphones and Beats Studio Pro.
Separately, ZDNet surveyed Labor Day streaming deals. The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Plus is $40 (save $30), the Roku Streaming Stick 4K is $49 (save $31), and the Google TV Streamer is $94. Streaming services Sling TV and Fubo TV also have promotional pricing.
Best Buy's Labor Day sale ends Sept. 7 at midnight. TechRadar noted that the global RAM and component crisis has driven up prices on products such as MacBooks, iPads and Amazon devices, and Samsung has warned that TV prices could rise due to the memory-chip shortage, making the current discounts time-sensitive.
