Best Buy Techtober Sale Offers Up to 50% Off as LG OLED Gaming TV Deals Arrive Before Prime Day
Best Buy Techtober sale offers up to 50% off electronics; LG OLED gaming TV deals land before Prime Day.
In TVs, TechRadar highlighted the TCL QM6K 55-inch Mini-LED TV at $499.99, reduced from $799.99, and the LG C6 65-inch OLED TV at $1,499.99, down from $2,699.99. It called the C6 its expert's pick for the best TV available at the time. The same article listed the LG C6's $1,200 discount under Best Buy's Labor Day sale, rather than the Techtober event, while the broader sale coverage described Techtober as the active promotion.
The sale spans several categories, according to TechRadar: Apple products have up to $500 off MacBooks and AirPods; appliances up to 40% off; cameras up to $1,000 off Sony, DJI and Canon; gaming includes PS5 and Switch games from $19.99; headphones from Apple, Sony and Bose start at $9.99; kitchen products have up to 50% off Ninja and Breville; laptops start at $189; phones have up to $1,200 off iPhone and Samsung; smart home devices up to 50% off cameras and doorbells; smartwatches up to $200 off Apple and Google; speakers up to $400 off LG and JBL; tablets up to $100 off iPad and Lenovo; toys up to 50% off; TVs start at $69.98; and vacuums have up to 40% off Dyson and Shark.
Among the top deals, TechRadar pointed to Sony MDREX14AP wired earbuds at $9.99, down from $19.99, and the five-star JBL Charge 6 speaker. It also listed the Breville Barista Express espresso machine at a return to its record-low price, and Nintendo Switch 2 bundles that let buyers choose a downloadable copy of Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza or Pokémon Pokopia, for savings of up to $29.99. The list included a 14-inch laptop with a Snapdragon X processor, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, advertised with up to 41 hours of battery life, and the Dell XPS 13 with a 13.4-inch touchscreen, Intel Core 5 processor, 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD.
In a separate article, TechRadar's TV tester said the 48-inch LG B6 is an ideal gaming upgrade ahead of GTA 6 and Prime Day. In the US, Best Buy has the LG B6 48-inch for $699.99, down from $1,199.99. In the UK, the LG C5 48-inch is available for £799 at Crampton & Moore, a price TechRadar described as strong for one of 2025's best TVs.
TechRadar said the B6, the entry-level model in LG's 2026 OLED lineup, has four HDMI 2.1 ports supporting 4K 120Hz, full VRR, Dolby Vision gaming and ALLM, with a measured 8.9ms input lag. It is about 150 nits brighter than the B5, the article said, with vibrant colors, inky blacks and strong contrast. The C5 has four HDMI 2.1 ports supporting 4K 144Hz, full VRR, ALLM and Dolby Vision gaming, and a measured 9.2ms input lag, with sharp motion handling suited to games and movies. The reviewer tested both sets with Battlefield V and described smooth performance in fast action.
TechRadar said the Best Buy Techtober sale would run all week and that it would add more standout offers over the coming days. The publication also said its full Amazon Prime Big Deal Days coverage would begin when that event starts on October 6.
