Breville Barista Touch Espresso Maker Drops to $799.99 for National Coffee Day
Amazon is offering the Breville Barista Touch espresso maker for $799.99, a $200 discount from $999.99, for National Coffee Day, according to TechRadar.
TechRadar, which ranked the Barista Touch as its best espresso maker, described the machine as five-star rated. The deal is part of limited-time National Coffee Day promotions on coffee makers, the publication said.
According to TechRadar, the Breville Barista Touch is designed to simplify brewing at home. It combines a compact integrated grinder with assisted tamping and auto-dosing. Its touchscreen display guides users through three steps: grind, brew, and milk. Users can adjust coffee strength, milk texture, and temperature, and save up to eight personalized coffees. The machine also includes a manual steam wand that TechRadar said can deliver barista-quality microfoam and help create latte art.
TechRadar's deals editor, Mackenzie Frazier, wrote that she purchased the Breville Barista Touch at full price after deciding to invest in a machine that was easy to use and made delicious coffee. She said she now wakes up looking forward to making her morning cup, whether a frothy latte, an Americano, or a cappuccino. She added that her only regret was not waiting for it to go on sale.
The discount brings the machine to $799.99 from $999.99. TechRadar said that is the lowest price in months and $50 above the record low seen in June. The sale is available on Amazon for a limited time as part of National Coffee Day, according to the report.
