Call of Duty: Warzone to Add Toggle Hiding Other Players' Goofy Skins

Call of Duty: Warzone will introduce a Season 1 toggle for Modern Warfare 4 that replaces other players' outlandish skins with standard Operator appearances, Engadget reports. The option is off by default and does not change other players' view.

The toggle is off by default, according to Engadget. When it is turned on, it does not affect the experience of any other people in a match. A player's own skin will still appear as usual, so a player can keep a cartoon character while making everyone else wear camo.

Over the years, Call of Duty has offered players skins that range from Rambo to Beavis and Butt-Head, Engadget reported. The report said matches could look ridiculous. It also cited the possibility of being killed by a creepy fuzzy creature called Wubz, which players can apparently use as a skin.

Engadget said players who want to keep the Warzone experience serious, or at least as serious as Call of Duty can be, will likely embrace the new option. The report described the change as a fix for players who roll their eyes at the growing number of distractingly ridiculous skins, at least in one game mode.
