CANDYSIGN's Xiaodianpin Core Puts AVS on All Four USB-C Ports

The company ties AVS, or adjustable voltage supply, to the arrival of the iPhone 18 Pro generation, but it applies the standard to every C port rather than reserving it for one. The charger also supports PD 3.2, PPS, MiPPS and UFCS, which the company says covers phones, laptops, tablets, earbuds, power banks and other digital devices.

In tests cited by CANDYSIGN, an iPhone 18 Pro reached 57 percent in about 15 minutes and an iPhone 18 Pro Max reached 50 percent in the same period. The company notes that these results come from its own measurements and vary with the device and the environment.

The charger's second feature is FreeFlow, a dynamic power allocation system built on the company's FluxAI. Instead of dividing its power budget once among connected devices, it continuously reads demand and puts released power back into the pool, so a device that needs a short top-up can draw available wattage and the split can be recalculated as demand changes. CANDYSIGN says a 160 W Xiaodianpin Core delivered 296.43 Wh of cumulative output over two hours, compared with 277.9 Wh from a conventional 250 W charger in its testing.

The five ports are contained in a body measuring roughly 105 x 39 x 39 mm and weighing about 280 g, plus or minus 30 g. The prongs fold for storage, and the charger supports 110-240 V input for use in different regions.

The Xiaodianpin Core is based on an architecture CANDYSIGN calls SDC, or software-defined charger. Through remote control, users can manage device status and select charging modes including FreeFlow, sleep charging, an Apple-device mode and a dedicated C1 mode. The app also shows charging status, power and a two-hour power curve, and allows per-port customization, scheduled shutdown and screensaver settings.

An on-device ingBar amber display shows charging power and time, along with animated effects, so users can check status without opening a phone. CANDYSIGN says the charger supports full-model OTA updates and has received more than 150 cumulative upgrades covering protocol firmware, feature policies and device compatibility.
