Casio Reportedly Working on CRW-002 Digital Watch Ring

Casio is reportedly preparing the CRW-002, a second digital watch ring based on its A168 series, with a possible November release and a reported price of $135.

The CRW-002 is said to be based on Casio's metal A168 watch series, according to TechRadar. It is expected to be available in steel and gold, and to carry text associated with the original A168 watch, including 'Chronograh', 'Illuminator' and 'Water Resist'. The ring's band is an injection-molded replica of the watch strap, based on images posted by Notebookcheck. The reported features include dual time, a 60-minute stopwatch, an LED backlight, a calendar, 12- and 24-hour formats, and Time Flash, which blinks the light on the hour and at a time the user sets.

The price is said to be $135, around £100 or AU$195. That compares with average prices for the CRW-001 of around $200, £105 or AU$250. TechRadar reported that the CRW-002 is set to be released in November.

The first-generation CRW-001 debuted in December 2024. Although TechRadar described the watch ring as something of a novelty and said it is not clear whether it can technically be classed among the best smart rings, periodic restocks of the niche watch-ring hybrid continue to sell out. The device has devotees, the report said.

Casio's retro pull is not limited to the ring. The F-B100W, a Bluetooth-enabled digital watch with a simple step tracker linked to an app and a Find My Phone function, has also sold quickly. It was a sell-out hit in Japan and some outlets in the UK, and it recently landed in the US. TechRadar's reviewer called the F-B100W 'an absolute belter of a watch for the price' and the 'most fun' smart wearable he had worn that year when he tried it in September 2026.

The product details, including the name, materials, features, price and release timing, come from the Casioblog report as described by TechRadar and Notebookcheck.
