Celebrity Traitors Season 2 Episode 8 Airs on BBC One and iPlayer
Episode 8 of The Celebrity Traitors season two is due on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on October 23 at 8pm BST, with UK viewers able to stream for free with a TV licence. The episode follows Ross Kemp's murder and Jerry Hall's banishment.
The BBC does not require an account or subscription for iPlayer beyond the licence, according to TechRadar. Episodes one through seven are already available to stream, and episode eight is due on the same day. The final is scheduled for Friday, October 30, and the spinoff Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked is also available.
In the previous episode, Ross Kemp was murdered in plain sight. Sharon Rooney identified poisonous perfume as the method, TechRadar reported. The murder left the faithfuls confused. A challenge added to the confusion when Maya Jama, a traitor, made a couple of mistakes for the first time. Jerry Hall was banished, meaning the faithfuls had again removed one of their own.
The traitors now must choose whom to murder among Miranda, Joanne and Bash. TechRadar said the decision was a toss-up between the three. The show's two original traitors were Richard E. Grant and Maya Jama. Richard E. Grant told everyone immediately that he was a traitor and was voted out at the first Round Table. Maya Jama played the game as intended.
The traitors have since recruited James Acaster and Prof. Hannah Fry. The dead include Bella Ramsey and Amol Rajan. After voting out a traitor at the first Round Table, the faithfuls banished Julie Hesmondhalgh and Myha'la, both of their own. Rob Beckett was murdered after a game of hide-and-seek, and the faithfuls later banished Hannah Fry. YouTuber King Kenny took her place in the turret. The traitors murdered Ross with 'poisonous perfume' and made him yawn, TechRadar reported. Suspicion fell on Leigh-Anne, who wore villainous gloves at the Round Table. Michael Sheen's comment about having 'the strongest possible group of faithfuls' appeared to end Jerry's time in the castle.
For viewers in the US, TechRadar reported that The Celebrity Traitors (2026) will arrive on Peacock in Q4 2026, with a release date to be announced shortly. TechRadar also said viewers outside the UK can use a VPN to connect to a UK server and access BBC iPlayer, provided they do not breach broadcaster terms and conditions. It named NordVPN as its top choice.
