Claude tops YouGov AI satisfaction survey, leaving Grok and Siri at bottom
A YouGov survey of UK users found Anthropic's Claude has the highest satisfaction score among current and former users, beating Gemini and ChatGPT, while Grok and Siri rank lowest.
According to the "Top 10 AI assistants by Satisfaction among current and former users" list, Claude scored 56.2, well ahead of Gemini's 46.5, with ChatGPT close behind at 46.0. Microsoft Copilot and Alexa occupied the middle of the table with scores of 37.2 and 42.6, respectively. At the bottom were Apple's Siri and Elon Musk's Grok, which respondents reported did not satisfy.
The survey also explored differences in satisfaction between current and former users. Claude gained the highest "Former users Satisfaction score" and the second highest "Current users Satisfaction score," indicating that even people who stopped using it still regard it favorably. The widest gaps between current and former user satisfaction appeared for ChatGPT, DeepSeek, and Grok. ChatGPT was 63.7 points higher among current users than former users, DeepSeek was 62.5 points higher, and Grok was 62.4 points higher. Grok had a particularly low score among former users at -4.7.
The data was collected by YouGov's BrandIndex tracking system, which asks live users targeted questions about specific topics. YouGov gathered responses over a five-month period from UK users.
