Corsair 32GB DDR5-6000 RAM falls to $474.99 at Newegg with coupon code

TechRadar: 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5-6000 RAM is $474.99 at Newegg with code FTTF8289, saving $163.

The kit contains two 16GB modules and runs at 6000MT/s with CL36 latency and 36-44-44-96 timings. It operates at 1.35V and is designed for DDR5-compatible Intel systems, including motherboards based on Intel 600 and 700 series chipsets. TechRadar said it is aimed at PC gamers, content creators and enthusiasts looking to upgrade a compatible Intel DDR5 desktop with faster dual-channel memory.

According to TechRadar, the memory includes Intel XMP 3.0 support, which allows users to apply the kit's rated settings through a compatible motherboard's BIOS. Corsair also supports custom XMP profiles through its iCUE software. Each module has ten individually addressable RGB LEDs beneath a panoramic light bar and an aluminum heatspreader.

TechRadar reported that the Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5-6000 kit was listed at $637.99 at Newegg before being cut to $479.99. Using coupon code FTTF8289 reduces the cost by another $5, giving a checkout price of $474.99. The total saving is $163, or about 25.5%, against the original price. TechRadar noted that the price is fair in the current market but remains much higher than last year, before the memory crisis.

TechRadar's buying guidance said the kit makes sense for users upgrading an Intel-based desktop who need 32GB of DDR5-6000 memory with RGB lighting and software customization. It advised skipping the kit for budget PC builds or for users who do not need RGB lighting, because a less expensive DDR5 kit without illuminated heatspreaders could provide similar capacity and speed for less money.
