Corsair TC100 Relaxed Drops to $220 at Amazon and £150 in the UK

Corsair TC100 Relaxed drops to $220 at Amazon and £150 in the UK, TechRadar says, remaining a top budget chair for work and play.

TechRadar said the deal is aimed at remote workers, students, and gamers who want a supportive ergonomic chair for both work and play. The publication said the TC100 Relaxed has a wider seat base than traditional bucket-seat designs, along with built-in lumbar support. It includes fabric upholstery in a racing-inspired design, a lumbar pillow, a detachable memory foam neck pillow, adjustable seat height, and adjustable armrests.

The chair has a 90- to 160-degree recline range with 10-degree tilt stability for a rocking motion, according to TechRadar. In its review, TechRadar called the TC100 Relaxed "brilliantly budget" and said it "looks and feels every bit like some of the higher-end chairs" the site has tested. TechRadar said the recline range stands out for a budget chair, allowing users to move from an upright desk position to a reclined break without the wobble or looseness common in cheaper chairs.

In the UK, TechRadar listed the chair at £150, down from £200. A separate price-context section in the same article described the discount as a £50 drop from £199.99 to £149.99, a 25 percent discount. TechRadar also said UK price tracking showed that price as the lowest currently available across major retailers, with most competitors still listing the same chair at £199.99 or higher. The discrepancy between £200 and £199.99, and between £150 and £149.99, appears in TechRadar's article.

TechRadar recommended buying the Corsair TC100 Relaxed for people who want a comfortable, supportive, and affordable chair for long desk sessions. It said shoppers should skip it if they want a true office chair rather than a gaming chair that can also serve as one for work.
