Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB DDR4 Kit Drops to $205 at Newegg
A 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200 kit is available for $205 at Newegg by combining a promo code with the retailer's gift card offer, down from $316.
The kit consists of two 16GB modules, model CMK32GX4M2E3200C16, rated at CL16 (16-20-20-38) and 1.35V. It supports Intel XMP 2.0 for configuration and uses a low-profile black anodized aluminum heat spreader, a design that allows the modules to fit beneath tall CPU air coolers. Corsair backs the kit with a limited lifetime warranty.
TechRadar reported that the $205 figure is not an all-time low for the kit, but said it is lower than what the publication would expect to pay in the current market, where memory prices have been rising. The price depends on stacking two $100 Newegg gift cards purchased through the retailer's promotion together with the discount code.
The publication positioned the deal for owners of DDR4 desktops running 16GB or less who want more capacity for gaming, multitasking and browser-heavy workloads without moving to a newer platform. It noted that the memory is DDR4 and therefore slower than DDR5, and advised buyers with DDR5 systems, including AMD AM5 and recent Intel builds, to skip the offer.
