Crossy Road Rush to Launch Exclusively on Apple Arcade Nov. 5
Apple Arcade and Hipster Whale said Crossy Road Rush, an exclusive island adventure with solo and four-player modes, will launch Nov. 5.
The game follows the colorful voxel-style look of Crossy Road and Crossy Road Castle while adding a more adventure-focused structure with combat, exploration and multiplayer. It will offer solo play and local or online racing for up to four players.
The Crossy Road YouTube channel describes the title as an arcade island adventure in which players swerve, spin, smash and survive with the Crossy Road Crew. Players are asked to chase an angry Octoboss from Crossy Cove, free friends and restore the island. A trailer was released with the announcement.
Apple Arcade offers the game as an exclusive. The service costs $6.99 per month as a standalone subscription or is included in Apple One. It includes access to more than 200 games with no ads or in-app purchases, according to 9to5Mac.
The Crossy Road Rush announcement came days after Apple Arcade added five titles earlier in October: Pusheen’s Place, River City Survivors, Terraria+, Touchgrind BMX 2+ and 4 Pics 1 Word+.
