CUKTECH 25 Power Bank SE Review: $70 Battery Impresses With One Multi-Port Catch

Android Authority's review says CUKTECH's $69.99 25 Power Bank SE offers 25,000mAh, a built-in braided USB-C cable and 100W charging in a slim body. Its main drawback is slower output when multiple ports are used at once.

The SE label usually signals a lower-cost product that keeps core features. Android Authority says CUKTECH has joined that naming approach with the 25 Power Bank SE. The power bank is priced at $69.99, while such battery packs are usually on the higher end of the price spectrum. The 25,000mAh capacity is treated by the industry as a balance between capability and portability.

The review says the device maintains CUKTECH's design and build standards. Although it is made of plastic, the material feels high quality, and the 1.19-pound weight is well balanced. Nothing is loose, and the single button feels solid. The unit has a built-in cable, and the review describes it as portable. The built-in cable is braided and tested to resist 10,000 bends. The reviewer used it as a lanyard and never felt the USB-C plug would come out of its docking slot or the cable would rip apart, while cautioning readers not to try that themselves.

The form factor is different from many 25,000mAh power banks, which are often shaped like tall soda cans. The CUKTECH 25 Power Bank SE is flatter and thinner, with dimensions of 6.3 by 3.15 by 1.06 inches. Android Authority says this shape fits more comfortably in flatter pockets or laptop bags, making it more versatile to carry than examples such as the CUKTECH 20 Power Bank or Anker Laptop Power Bank, which fit better in a backpack bottle holder.

In use, the 25,000mAh capacity is enough to fully charge a laptop on the go if needed and to power a smartphone three to four times for most handsets. The reviewer says it can keep a phone running for a full weekend with about 30% to 40% of juice left. The integrated USB-C cable can deliver up to 100W. There is also a second 100W USB-C port and a USB-A connection with a maximum output of 22.5W. When more than one of these is used simultaneously, speeds drop to 20W.

The power bank can also recharge at 100W. The reviewer saw it reach about 97W several times, getting roughly a 25% boost in only 15 minutes. Charging slows a bit after that because of heat, but overall it recharges quickly, and users can recharge it through the built-in cable or the secondary USB-C port.

Android Authority says some sacrifices were made to reach the $69.99 price, but they are not deal-breakers. The only significant downside cited is multi-port charging speed. The review says finding a good 25,000mAh power bank at that price is rare, and the CUKTECH 25 Power Bank SE remains impressively good despite the multi-port limitation.
