DDR5 Memory Deals Offer Rare Savings as Prices Surge Amid AI Demand

The V-Color Manta XFinity RGB DDR5 kit is priced at $399.99 after applying promo code BTSF3652, down from its listed price of $450.69. This represents a total saving of $50.70, or just over 11%. The 32GB dual-channel kit consists of two 16GB DDR5-6000 modules with CL30 latency and 30-38-38-76 timings. It supports both Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO profiles, allowing easy configuration on compatible systems. TechRadar notes that the specification is the main appeal, with DDR5-6000 CL30 offering a strong balance between frequency and timings, and SK Hynix ICs providing good stability and overclocking potential.

The TeamGroup kit offers a 16GB (2x8GB) DDR5-6000 CL38 module set at $215 after using promo code BTSF3667, reduced from its original price of $248. The broader context makes these deals significant. DDR5 prices have risen dramatically since late 2025, driven by AI data centers absorbing memory manufacturing capacity that would otherwise go toward consumer RAM. According to TechRadar, kits that cost $80 to $120 a year ago now regularly run $350 or more for larger capacities, with prices having roughly tripled to quadrupled. Industry analysts do not expect meaningful relief until 2027.

TechRadar advises that while these discounts are not steep by historical standards, they represent worthwhile reductions in a market where prices are climbing rather than falling. The outlet also warns that buyers should check motherboard and processor compatibility before purchasing, as DDR5-6000 operation is not guaranteed on every platform without manual tuning. For those who do not need immediate memory upgrades, waiting may be preferable given market volatility.
