Dell GB10 Workstation Undercuts Nvidia DGX Spark by $1,047
Dell has listed its Pro Precision with GB10 at $5,903, $1,047 below Nvidia's DGX Spark, as third-party DGX Spark prices climb. The compact workstation uses the same Grace Blackwell superchip and 128GB of memory for local AI work.
Nvidia lists the DGX Spark at $6,950 directly. Third-party resellers are charging more: TechRadar cited a listing at nearly $10,000 on Newegg and another at $9,000 on Best Buy.
The Dell machine runs Nvidia DGX OS 7 on the GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip with 128GB of LPDDR5x memory at up to 8533 MT/s and a 2TB SSD. A 1TB configuration is listed at $5,523. Dell also offers 1TB, 2TB and 4TB storage options, and removing the Dell keyboard and mouse saves $53, according to the report.
TechRadar said the Dell system carries the same chip and memory as Nvidia's machine. The GB10 combines an Arm-based CPU with a Blackwell GPU, and the 128GB of onboard memory is intended for larger local AI models and development work.
The $1,047 difference is measured against Nvidia's direct price for the DGX Spark. TechRadar said the 4TB Dell configuration adds $2,830 over the base model, and it recommended the 1TB or 2TB versions with an external drive for extra files.
The report said buyers should choose the Dell Pro Precision with GB10 if they plan to run large AI models locally. It said buyers should skip it if they want a general high-performance machine for non-AI tasks or prefer the official Nvidia small-form-factor system.
