Developer launches open-source Jev Cards quiz game against vision model

Developer launches Jev Cards, an open-source picture quiz built around TypeSafe's Jev vision model.

In the game, Jev receives the same picture and question as the player and picks an answer or taps a place in about a quarter of a second, the developer wrote. The author said the cards were made from scratch and that Jev gets exactly the picture the player sees. More cards are expected over time.

Players can compete against Jev alone, with a leaderboard for each mode, or start a live match and challenge friends while Jev joins as one more player. The code is open source, and the developer invited others to build their own game or make more cards for publication. The post said the newest cards stay private for a while.

The developer disclosed running Jev through both TypeSafe and Opper and making the cards through Opper's vision models and Claude Code. The author works at Opper but said players do not need anything from Opper to play Jev Cards or run it themselves.
