DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Creator Combo Drops to $499 in Amazon Summer Deal

The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Creator Combo is now $499 at Amazon, down from $629, a 21% discount and the lowest price seen for the bundle, according to TechRadar.

The Creator Combo includes, alongside the Pocket 3 camera, a DJI Mic 2 transmitter, a battery handle, a wide-angle lens, a mini tripod and a carrying bag, making it a complete kit for recording on the go.

The camera itself features a 1-inch CMOS sensor, three-axis mechanical stabilization and a rotating 2-inch touchscreen for easy switching between horizontal and vertical shooting. ActiveTrack 6.0 keeps the subject framed while moving, useful for solo creators. It records 4K video, supports 4K/120fps slow motion and 10-bit D-Log M, with footage stored on a microSD card.

In the UK, the Creator Combo is now priced at £399, down from £499, at Amazon.

TechRadar's expert Paul gave the camera a 4.5-star review, saying: "Overall, this is an impressive camera that delivers amazing video quality and beautiful slow-mo scenes. The timelapse and motion-lapse features further expand the functionality of this camera, and you won’t be disappointed by what it enables you to produce."

For solo creators, the combination of subject tracking, rotating screen and wireless audio is particularly useful. The camera can be placed on the mini tripod, allowing the creator to step in front of it and record without assistance.

According to TechRadar, buyers should note that a microSD card is required, and a charger is not included with the bundle. The 4K/120fps mode is specifically for slow-motion recording, and Android users cannot currently download DJI Mimo from Google Play; the app must be obtained directly from DJI.

TechRadar recommends the Creator Combo over the standard package for those who value audio, as the included DJI Mic 2 transmitter provides a wireless microphone out of the box. However, those who already have a camera setup or do not need the extra accessories might skip the bundle and consider the standard Pocket 3 instead.
