DroidDeck Adds Experimental Xbox and PC Game Pass Support

The developers say the Microsoft titles can be run with Proton or FEX, much like Steam titles, according to Android Authority. DroidDeck already provides a SteamOS-like experience for running PC games on a mobile device; the new support extends that local-play setup to Game Pass content on an experimental basis.

Version 0.6.0 also adds support for the Itch.io storefront, expanding the number of PC games users can run through the app. Android Authority reported that the release includes touchscreen gestures, faster performance on Adreno GPUs and faster loading from microSD cards.

Android Authority described DroidDeck as one of the most impressive gaming apps on Android, saying it lets users run PC games locally while offering a SteamOS-like experience. The app’s Game Pass support is labeled experimental, and the developers’ GitHub release outlines the Microsoft-account sign-in and Proton or FEX playback path.
