Dubois and Wardley Set for Heavyweight Rematch at The O2

Dubois and Wardley meet in a heavyweight rematch at The O2 on Saturday, with DAZN PPV and free BBC radio coverage.

The first fight, in Manchester in May, saw Dubois survive two knockdowns before stopping Wardley in the 11th round. TechRadar described it as an all-time classic and reported that Wardley, bloodied and bruised, made Dubois dig deep before losing his unbeaten record and the WBO belt. Wardley, the Ipswich fighter, invoked his rematch clause rather than taking warm-up fights, the report said. Dubois, 29, from Greenwich, is now the target as he seeks to establish himself at the top of the heavyweight division.

The card at The O2 starts at 2pm ET / 11am PT / 7pm BST on Saturday, with ringwalks for the main event scheduled for about 5.30pm ET / 2.30pm PT / 10.30pm BST. In Australia, the card begins at 5am AEDT on Sunday, October 18, and the main-event ringwalks are set for about 8.30am AEDT.

DAZN is carrying the fight as a pay-per-view in more than 200 countries. TechRadar reported that the one-off price is $59.99 in the US and Canada, £24.99 in the UK and AU$49.95 in Australia, with no DAZN subscription required. A new DAZN Ultimate Tier costs $44.99 a month in the US or £24.99 a month in the UK and includes 12 pay-per-views a year alongside 185 fight nights; in Australia it costs AU$39.99 a month. There is no free DAZN stream, the report said.

BBC Radio 5 Live will provide full live commentary via BBC Sounds, the BBC Sport website and the BBC Sport app; a BBC account is required. A YouTube watchalong requires no account or subscription. Stacey Copeland and Steve Bunce will lead the radio coverage, with Richie Woodhall and Ronald McIntosh on commentary and Molly Stephens ringside. Nick Peet will front the YouTube watchalong with British heavyweight champion Richard Riakporhe, Emily Smith and Liam Gough.

TechRadar said listeners outside the UK can use a VPN to access BBC Sounds, and that DAZN viewers may need one to reach the correct PPV price for their location; it recommended NordVPN. The report also noted that the BBC Sounds app is not listed outside the UK and that a BBC account should be linked to a valid UK postcode if access fails.
