EcoFlow unveils Titan 5000 home battery series with $50 reservation offer
EcoFlow launched three Titan 5000 home battery systems priced from $2,499 to $3,699, with a $50 reservation offer adding a 5% discount and two free solar panels.
The Titan systems are aimed at homeowners who want backup power or to make better use of solar energy, according to TechRadar. They are expandable home energy systems rather than ordinary portable power stations, with capacity to supply thousands of watts of electricity and integrate with selected household circuits. EcoFlow lets buyers choose storage capacity separately from power output; the starting 5kWh battery is intended for shorter outages, and expansion batteries can increase runtime. A 5kWh battery could theoretically power a continuous 500W load for around 10 hours, though actual runtime varies because of conversion losses and other factors. Expanding to 30kWh provides six times the stored energy, but additional batteries raise the total cost.
All three models offer automatic backup switching within 20 milliseconds and smart energy management. EcoFlow's Smart Home Panel 10 can manage up to ten selected circuits, and the OASIS 3.0 software adds monitoring and energy management, including scheduling charging around electricity tariffs.
The entry-level Titan 5000 Classic starts at $2,499 and provides 4,000W of output for essential 120V appliances such as fridges and lighting. It comes with approximately 5kWh of battery storage, expandable to 30kWh with additional batteries, and supports up to 3,200W of solar input. Because it offers only 120V output, buyers who need more power can move to the standard Titan 5000.
The Titan 5000 is priced at $3,199 and raises output to 7,200W with support for both 120V and 240V appliances. Solar input increases to 4,000W, and the system works with EcoFlow's 240V Smart Home Panel 10 for automatic backup of selected household circuits.
The Titan 5000 Plus costs $3,699 and shares the standard model's 7,200W output but doubles maximum solar input to 8,000W through two independent 4,000W MPPT controllers. Its PV Boost technology can increase available output to 10,000W when enough solar power is available. It also supports 120V/240V power, automatic backup switching, smart energy management and home integration.
