EliseAI Raises $350M at $4B Valuation to Expand Housing and Healthcare AI

EliseAI said Tuesday it raised $350 million at a $4 billion valuation to expand AI automation for housing and healthcare.

SiliconANGLE reported that Andreessen Horowitz and Bessemer jointly led the round, with Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, Sapphire Ventures and Navitas Capital also participating. SiliconANGLE identified the company as Elise A.I. Technologies Corp., founded in 2017 with an initial focus on rental housing.

EliseAI builds automation software for housing and healthcare companies. TechCrunch reported that its software is used by one in six apartments across the United States and that the company said this summer it passed $200 million in annual recurring revenue. SiliconANGLE reported that its platform supports management of more than one in six U.S. apartments and that its healthcare platform is used by more than 3,500 organizations, from small clinics to hospitals.

On the real estate side, EliseAI offers a customer relationship management platform that stores prospect data and extracts key information from interactions with existing residents. A marketing automation engine uses that data to tailor promotional materials. The company’s Maintenance App routes property repair requests to technicians based on factors such as availability and required skills, and a dashboard lets property managers track repair progress.

Earlier this month, EliseAI launched an AI assistant called Apollo. TechCrunch described Apollo as an AI “teammate” that helps with tasks inside the EliseAI platform. Minna Song, co-founder and CEO, told TechCrunch: “It’s built natively into the same platform that already runs leasing, maintenance, and renewals. So it can act across every role on a property team.” SiliconANGLE reported that Apollo can send follow-ups to leads who attended a property tour, retrieve information, and surface property management best practices and data such as the average cost of outstanding maintenance projects.

In healthcare, EliseAI provides a chatbot that schedules medical appointments and answers patient questions. The company says the software can process up to 95% of inbound inquiries and can automate prescription reminders after a doctor’s visit. The platform also ingests patient documents and syncs key information to an electronic health record system, reducing manual data entry.

Song said in a blog post that housing and healthcare are “the most complex, the most bespoke, the most entrenched, and the hardest – but they’re also the most important.” She added: “And they won’t absorb this technology without a tremendous act of building.” TechCrunch reported that EliseAI has targeted housing and healthcare because they are two of the largest expenses for American households.

EliseAI said it will use the funding to extend its automation features. It also plans to hire more engineers, software deployment professionals and salespeople.
