Enough Phone compact smartphone specs revealed, Kickstarter campaign to launch soon

According to TechRadar, the Enough Phone will feature a 5.3-inch screen and a user-replaceable battery, with specs revealed ahead of a Kickstarter campaign.

Compact smartphones have become scarce since Apple discontinued the iPhone mini after 2021, and most Android phones now ship with screens larger than 6 inches. The Enough Phone’s 5.3-inch 720 x 1520 LCD display is marginally smaller than the iPhone 13 mini’s 5.4-inch panel. The handset measures 132.8 x 63.8 x 12mm, similar in length and width to the iPhone 13 mini but noticeably thicker than Apple’s 7.7mm device.

The extra thickness accommodates a 3,500-4,000mAh battery that the manufacturer says will be user-replaceable. Other specifications listed by TechRadar include a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 chipset, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a single 50MP rear camera, a 32MP front camera, Android 17 with an OdysseyOS overlay, a fingerprint sensor, 5G, NFC, a microSD card slot, eSIM support, and a polycarbonate back.

The Enough Phone appears to have modest specs, but its compact screen, removable battery, and microSD card slot could make it stand out if the price is competitive. The price is still unconfirmed, and there is no guarantee the phone will ever launch. The company is relying on Kickstarter funding, with the campaign said to begin soon, and interested customers can sign up for the mailing list, according to TechRadar.
