Leaked images show Fairphone's Fairbuds 2 with a stem-style design and taller charging case. Fairphone says they stay modular, but replaceable parts, pricing and specs are still unconfirmed before a Q4 2026 launch.
The images show green and black versions. According to the report, these mirror the Forest Green and Horizon Black colorways of the new Fairphone Gen 6 Plus. Fairphone says the Fairbuds 2 will remain modular, but it has not specified which parts will be replaceable.
The first Fairbuds stood out among wireless earbuds because users could replace parts instead of discarding the whole product when something wore out. Whether the new design preserves that repairability is now a central question raised by the leak.
Pricing and full specifications for the Fairbuds 2 are still unknown. Fairphone has not announced further details beyond the Q4 2026 launch window.
