Final Star Wars Zero Company Trailer Confirms Captain Rex's Return

Bit Reactor's final Star Wars Zero Company trailer confirms Captain Rex's return, and the game launches August 27 on PC and consoles.

In the trailer, Rex appears briefly gearing up for a fight, which TechRadar suggests could be tied to a story-central battle. The studio previously confirmed that Anakin Skywalker will appear in the game, voiced by Matt Lanter, who played the character in The Clone Wars animated series.

Bit Reactor has not confirmed whether Rex will be playable, TechRadar said. However, fans have responded enthusiastically on social media. One fan on X wrote, "OUR BOYYYY IS BACK. CAPTAIN REX IS ACTUALLY BACK," while another said, "You're as beautiful as the day i lost you."

TechRadar's hands-on preview, based on more than 15 hours of play, praised the game's isometric turn-based tactics, customization, and story. The game is expected to take up to 40 hours to finish and will not include a New Game Plus mode. TechRadar also said that players unfamiliar with the turn-based tactics genre should still be able to enjoy the game.
