Find Hub’s new “Remembered” tab starts rolling out for untracked objects
Find Hub’s new “Remembered” tab is rolling out, letting users note where items that cannot be digitally tracked are kept.
The “Remembered” tab joins “Devices” and “People” as the third option in Find Hub’s bottom bar, marked by a bookmark icon with a Gemini spark in the top right corner. Because of the Gemini integration, users can ask Google’s AI assistant to note an object’s location, even if the object is not a connected device. The tab also includes a floating action button with an “Ask Gemini” shortcut.
Users can add items manually instead. The manual flow first asks for an item’s name and storage spot, after which users can add a picture, location details, and notes. The update is available through the Google Play Store, but the feature does not appear to be widely available yet.
