Free Combat Demo Released for Free Stars: Children of Infinity
Free Stars: Children of Infinity, the official sequel to The Ur-Quan Masters, now has a free combat demo on Steam and GOG for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
According to a report by Ars Technica, the demo is a standalone portion of the full space adventure RPG, which is being developed by Pistol Shrimp Games. In the melee mode, players can pit ships against either another player or a computer-controlled opponent, with each vessel offering distinct maneuvering, weapons, and special abilities.
The report includes a disclosure from its author, who has been a volunteer writer for Children of Infinity since 2021, contributing NPC dialogue and story elements. The author states that they receive no financial compensation from demo downloads or future game purchases.
