Galaxy S27 Pro and S27 Ultra Surface in China's 3C Filings With 60W Charging
Chinese regulatory filings list the Galaxy S27 Pro and S27 Ultra at 60W wired charging, with battery capacities that could reach 5,200mAh and 5,700mAh, according to Android Authority.
The listings were published by China's 3C certification body and cover two Samsung models carrying the numbers SM-S957 and SM-S958. Those model numbers have previously been linked to the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra. Both entries show the same charging profile of 20V at 3A, which works out to 60W.
Android Authority reported that the 60W figure matched expectations for the Ultra, since the Galaxy S26 Ultra carried the same rating, but was less certain for the Pro model before the filing appeared.
The two listings follow earlier 3C entries for the standard Galaxy S27 and the Galaxy S27 Plus, which showed 25W and 45W wired charging respectively. The difference leaves the base model well behind the rest of the range on charging speed.
Battery details also appeared in the same round of filings. Android Authority said it corroborated a discovery by SammyGuru of 3C entries for two batteries whose model numbers line up with the Pro and Ultra handsets. One is listed at 5,087mAh and the other at 5,534mAh, figures that would typically be advertised as 5,200mAh and 5,700mAh.
If the larger figure holds, the Galaxy S27 Ultra would break from the 5,000mAh capacity Samsung has used across its Ultra phones since the Galaxy S21 Ultra in 2021.
Android Authority wrote that the Pro and Ultra are shaping up to be the most interesting entries in the next flagship lineup, and described the base Galaxy S27, on the evidence of these early leaks, as potentially another dull release.
Regulatory filings of this kind confirm charging and battery hardware submitted for certification but do not cover other specifications, pricing or launch dates.
