Galaxy S27 Ultra Leak Points to Four Colors as S27 Pro May Use Exynos 2700

Leaks published Oct. 5 point to four Galaxy S27 Ultra colors and say the S27 Pro may use Exynos 2700 in Europe and Korea, while the Ultra chip remains undecided.

The color leak, attributed to Ice Universe by Android Authority, lists four base colors for the Galaxy S27 Ultra: Black, Blue, Light Pink, and White. Light Pink would be a new addition to the Ultra lineup and could replace the Deep Purple seen on the Galaxy S26 Ultra, though Samsung has offered Pink Gold on the S26 Ultra. The leak did not specify exact shades or finishes, and the use of base colors suggests additional variants may be announced later. Android Authority noted there is no clarity on whether the blue will differ from the S26 Ultra's Sky Blue.

Android Authority also reported that the smaller Galaxy S27 Pro is expected to mirror the Ultra in design and most specifications, raising the possibility that both devices share the same color selection. Samsung's online store is expected to offer exclusive colors that may not be available through other retailers. The report added that the S27 lineup has been linked to design changes, including a raised camera island similar to the iPhone 18 Pro and 17 Pro, and a new camera bay with a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP6 sensor and improvements to the 5x telephoto.

Separately, The Elec reported that the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27 Plus, and Galaxy S27 Pro will be available with Exynos 2700 in some regions, according to Android Authority. Exynos models are said to be planned for Europe and Korea, while Snapdragon variants are planned for China and the US. Samsung has reportedly increased Exynos 2700 production by almost 10 percent compared with its predecessor, a move attributed to the S27 Pro adopting the chip in some markets.

The Elec reported that Samsung has not decided whether to use Exynos 2700 in the Galaxy S27 Ultra. If Samsung uses its in-house chip in the Ultra, it would be the first Ultra model with Exynos since 2022's Galaxy S22 Ultra. Opinions are divided, according to The Elec: Samsung's LSI division, which makes Exynos chips, favors an Exynos-powered Ultra, while the Mobile Experience unit is weighing performance, heating, and unit costs before deciding.

Samsung has not confirmed the reports. The color leak did not detail exact shades or finishes, and The Elec reported that no final decision has been made on the Ultra's chip. The Galaxy S27 lineup is expected to include standard, Plus, Pro, and Ultra models, with the Pro positioned as a step above the standard and Plus variants.
