The leak appears closer to official marketing material than the CAD renders that surfaced earlier, giving a fairly final idea of how the device will look. Android Authority notes that comparing this image with Tab S11 Ultra marketing assets shows virtually no major differences aside from the wallpaper, though it is unclear if the wallpaper shown will be the official stock one. The source added that the S Pen will keep its prior design, including a physical button on the side.

Samsung has confirmed that a new tablet series will arrive in the second half of 2026, and the Tab S12 Ultra is expected to be the top model. While its exterior may be a carryover, the internals are reportedly set for an upgrade. According to recent leaks, Samsung plans to use MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 chip, which should deliver considerably more raw performance than the Dimensity 9400+ used in the Tab S11 Ultra.

Battery capacity and display appear unchanged, with the Tab S12 Ultra reportedly keeping the same 11,600mAh battery and 14-inch AMOLED panel. That makes the chipset the only known upgrade on paper so far. More details on RAM, storage and charging could emerge before an expected September unveiling.
