GameHub update brings mod support for PC games to Android

GameHub v6.2.0 brings PC game mod support to Android, controller customization, and better Steam integration.

The update is the app’s biggest addition, according to the report. It also promises controller customization with key/mouse mapping and cloud sharing, allowing users to carry over controller layouts when switching devices. Improved Steam integration adds quick access to friends, achievements, and the Steam Workshop, while the game library has been redesigned and divided by platform or store.

The release also fixes a component loading issue, cloud saves not syncing properly, and various bugs and stability issues.

GameHub made a splash in early 2025 as one of the few PC game emulators on Android alongside Winlator. Rival GameNative has since gained ground and became a preferred option, and it implemented mod integration earlier. This is GameHub’s first update since June, when it added a Steam overlay, Workshop support, an overhauled compatibility rating system, and custom install locations.

The update comes months after several developers claimed that GameSir used their code without crediting them. GameSir told Android Authority it had “no comment” regarding those claims. Between GameHub, GameNative, Winlator, and Winlator Ludashi, there are multiple ways to run PC games on Android devices.
