GameSir Pocket Taco drops to $27.99 on Amazon in 20% discount
GameSir's Pocket Taco portrait-mode phone controller is on sale at Amazon for $27.99, down from $34.99, a 20% discount and its lowest price this year.
The Pocket Taco is a compact Bluetooth controller that clips onto the bottom of a phone for portrait play, giving it a retro handheld feel. It weighs about 62g and folds down for easier carrying when not in use. Rather than attempting to be a full-size controller, it focuses on a D-pad and face buttons, which the report said makes it a better fit for older-style games and vertical titles.
The controller also supports app-based customization and alternate input modes for broader compatibility, giving users more control over how it works with different games and devices. On Amazon it carries a 4.5 out of 5 rating, which the report described as a good sign for a more unusual gaming accessory.
According to Android Authority, the deal suits players who want a small controller for portrait gaming rather than the usual landscape setup.
