Garmin CIRQA Users Report Missing Workouts as Garmin Investigates

Garmin CIRQA users report workouts started on the band and ended in Garmin Connect are not saved. Garmin is investigating and offers a workaround.

According to reports on Garmin’s forums cited by Android Authority, the activity is not saved when a user starts an activity by pressing the button on the CIRQA and later taps “End” in Garmin Connect’s “Activity in Progress” prompt. In those cases, the workout does not appear to be recorded after it is finished.

Garmin has offered a temporary workaround while it looks into the issue. The company advises users to tap “Resume” first and then stop and save the workout from the activity-recording screen. That sequence, according to the report, avoids the data loss that occurs when the activity is ended from the Connect app.

The CIRQA is a Garmin smart band and a rival to the Fitbit Air, according to Android Authority. Owners who have encountered the problem have described it on Garmin’s forums. The reports focus on a specific sequence of actions rather than all CIRQA workouts.

Android Authority reported the issue on Sept. 18, 2026. Garmin has not provided a timeline for a permanent fix, according to the report.
