GeForce Now to Support Steam Controller and Steam Machine Later This Year
Nvidia announced GeForce Now support for Steam Controller and Steam Machine, plus DLSS 4.5 controls and GOG sign-on.
The company also detailed several other GeForce Now upgrades. Nvidia will soon add new DLSS 4.5 controls for DLSS Super Resolution, Dynamic Frame Generation, and Ray Reconstruction. Ray Reconstruction is also officially launching for RTX GPUs in early access. The previously announced GOG single sign-on is now available. The service will reach more of Amazon's Fire TV Sticks later this year, and users will be able to buy a subscription through Amazon. As of last week, GeForce Now can be used on Firefox.
In other Gamescom announcements, Nvidia said EA, Embark, and Ubisoft plan to support its upcoming RTX Spark chip family, which is set to launch this fall. Games mentioned include EA Sports F1 25, Apex Legends, Arc Raiders, and Anno 117: Pax Romana. EA is also working on native support for its Javelin Anticheat technology for the company's biggest multiplayer games.
Nvidia also shared details about the 007 First Light path tracing update arriving in September and upgrades to RTX Remix.
