Gemini Notebook now lets you copy full shared notebooks with sources and Studio content

Google's Gemini Notebook now allows users to copy entire shared notebooks, including sources and Studio content, if the owner permits it, according to Android Authority.

The copy includes most Studio creations, such as Audio and Video Overviews, Study Guides, Flashcards, Quizzes, Slide Decks, prompts, and custom chat configurations. Copied notebooks are completely independent of the original, while personal notes and chat history stay private. Owners can disable copying through the “Allow copies” setting.

Previously, users could only view shared notebooks but could not easily build on them. Now, a copied notebook is added to the user's own library, where they can take what was already built and make it their own.
