Germany's Data Centers Under Squeeze From AI Demand, Minister Says
German minister: AI demand strains data centers; Europe must act, and approvals will be sped up.
"The reality is we are running short of compute capacity, that means demand will rise," Wildberger told Bloomberg Television, according to a report published the same day.
Wildberger added that German authorities will seek to expedite approval processes for data centers to help meet the rising demand. He also stressed that "Europe needs to wake up and use the talents we have," as reported by Bloomberg.
