Gigabyte A16 Pro With RTX 5070 Ti Falls to $1,449 at Walmart, a $700 Discount

Walmart has cut the Gigabyte Gaming A16 Pro, a 16-inch laptop with an Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti GPU, 32GB of DDR5 RAM and an Intel Core 7 240H, to $1,449 from $2,149.99, saving $700.99, according to TechRadar.

TechRadar reported the deal on October 15, 2026, and said it could find no evidence of a lower price for this exact configuration. The publication said the RTX 5070 Ti is the main draw for real-time effects, while the 32GB of memory gives the machine room to scrub through 4K timelines, manage multi-layer compositions and run several creative applications at the same time.

The laptop is described as suited to video editors, content creators, graphic designers and 3D artists who want strong performance without paying for a dedicated creative workstation. TechRadar said Nvidia's October Studio Driver, which added optimizations for Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, had prompted its search for editing laptops able to take advantage of GPU acceleration.

Storage is a 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD. The 16-inch IPS display has a 2560 x 1600 resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 165Hz refresh rate, 100 percent sRGB coverage and 400-nit brightness. Connectivity includes HDMI 2.1, USB-C with DisplayPort and Power Delivery, USB-A, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, Dolby Atmos audio and a headphone jack.

In a four-star review cited by TechRadar, reviewer Lindsay said the A16 Pro offers creator-level CPU performance and a 16-inch 165Hz display that can lay flat. The review said a 115W cap on the RTX 5080 left that configuration with mid-range performance, though it remained well ahead of similarly priced rivals equipped with the 5070. Lindsay also called the machine a capable workstation and measured charging of up to 90W over USB-C, which TechRadar said allows for usable productivity without carrying the larger power adapter. The review's reference to an RTX 5080 configuration differs from the RTX 5070 Ti GPU listed for the discounted Walmart model.

TechRadar said the Core 7 240H handles editing and multitasking duties, and put the $700.99 reduction at approximately 33 percent off. Its buying advice was to choose this laptop for video editing or other work that benefits from Nvidia GPU acceleration, and to look at a cheaper machine for work limited to documents, spreadsheets, email and web applications.
