The G10 supports three displays via HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C, and includes 2.5GbE Ethernet for much faster wired networking than the Gigabit connection commonly found on inexpensive PCs. At its core is a 4-core, 8-thread Ryzen 5 3500U processor with Radeon Vega 8 graphics, backed by the aforementioned 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD. Wireless connectivity covers Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0.

TechRadar praised the G10 for getting the basics right without stripping away useful features to hit a low price. The system offers considerable upgrade potential: two M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 slots support up to 16TB of SSD storage, and memory can be expanded to 64GB. In its review, TechRadar stated: "At the asking price, this is a terrific little system that can easily be upgraded to handle larger tasks with more memory and storage." It also noted that while the G10 will not win any awards for speed and is hardly a workhorse for 4K video editing or gaming, it proved to be a superb machine for light duties like browsing, streaming, and office work.

Regarding price history, this configuration normally sells for $379.99, and although the current $275.49 price is a significant discount, it is not the lowest ever recorded. TechRadar notes that the price briefly dropped to $252 at the very start of July this year for a short period. At under $280, buyers are still getting a complete system with 16GB RAM and an SSD included, making it a worthwhile purchase for anyone seeking an inexpensive ready-to-use mini PC.

TechRadar advises that potential buyers should consider the age of the components. The Ryzen 5 3500U is an older processor from an earlier Ryzen generation, and Wi-Fi 5 is behind current wireless standards. The 256GB SSD may also fill up quickly, though the storage expansion options mitigate that concern. For heavy creative workloads, the integrated Vega 8 graphics are not a substitute for a discrete GPU, but for office work, studying, web browsing, and general home computing, the G10 is recommended.
