Google confirms sleep breathing quality is coming to Fitbit Air
Google confirms sleep breathing quality is coming soon to Fitbit Air; no rollout date was given.
The feature first launched on the Pixel Watch 3, Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Watch 5, according to Android Authority. That left Fitbit Air owners questioning whether their trackers would ever support the sleep breathing quality insight. Google’s confirmation followed an inquiry from Android Authority about whether the missing feature would eventually reach the Fitbit Air or stay limited to Pixel Watches.
Google has not given an exact rollout date. The company said only that the feature is coming soon to the Fitbit Air. Android Authority reported that availability on the newer Fitbit Edge remains unconfirmed.
The confirmation means the Fitbit Air was not intended to be left out of the sleep breathing quality rollout, Android Authority reported. The publication said Fitbit Air owners who had been disappointed to find the feature absent now have confirmation that support is planned.
