Google Photos Expands Redact Tool and Moods Globally, Widens AI Wardrobe and Video Remix Access

In a new blog post, Google announced that several new Google Photos features are now available to users. The upgraded markup tool with the redact pen is now rolling out globally on Android phones. Android Authority said it first spotted the Redact tool in Google Photos in July. The publication later got it working on a test device, but the feature was not available to users until now.

The Moods feature is also rolling out globally, according to Android Authority. Google has been developing and testing several new features in Google Photos over the past few months, the report said.

Availability for other features remains more limited. AI Wardrobe was originally rolled out only to users in the United States and later expanded to a few other countries. Video Remix is also available to more users in select countries. Android Authority reported that these features are now part of the broader expansion, though it did not specify all countries where they are available.
