Google Play Store May Add 'Your Creations' Home for AI Studio Apps

Android Authority reports that Google Play Store appears to be developing a 'Your creations' section for apps built with AI Studio, though access to other users' AI Studio apps remains unclear.

Android Authority reported that Google lets users vibe code apps in AI Studio and later sideload them on their devices or submit them through the Play Console for public access. The new "Your creations" area would give those AI Studio projects a home inside the Play Store, the outlet said.

The report did not explain how the section would work or whether it would extend beyond a user's own creations. It said the Play Store is working on a new "Your creations" where users may be able to find their AI Studio creations.

Android Authority also noted that vibe coding has drawn pushback, but said it has the potential to work well and lowers the barrier to entry for building a first app. The outlet said Google is working to bring its AI Studio experience to Gemini, aiming to make it easier for Android users to start coding their own apps.
