Google Teases Android 18 on Android Dev Summit 2026 Agenda

Google has teased Android 18 on its Android Dev Summit 2026 agenda, which runs October 28–29.

Android Authority reported that the two-day schedule includes Android 18 alongside a tease of 'powerful new graphics features.' Google has not specified what those features are. The mention is one of the first official references to Android 18, which remains months away from landing on devices.

The summit will also feature a keynote from Android leadership covering the latest Android features and updates. That keynote makes the event a likely venue for Google to discuss Android 18 in more detail, but there is no confirmation that the company will make a full Android 18 announcement there.

Beyond Android 18, the event is divided into four main tracks covering AI experiences, Android XR, app foundations, and tools and performance. Those sessions are aimed primarily at developers and may signal where Google wants Android to move next, particularly in AI and extended reality.
