Google’s Pause Point Anti-Doomscrolling Tool Reaches OnePlus Devices

Android Authority says Google’s Pause Point has reached a OnePlus 13R on Color OS 17 beta, moving beyond Pixel phones.

Google announced Pause Point in May ahead of I/O. The feature offers a short mindfulness break to help users snap out of an app obsession. It was later teased as a Pixel 11 exclusive. Google then announced Android 17 QPR1, which began bringing Pause Point to additional Pixel phones.

Android Authority said the feature is now spreading to OnePlus devices running Color OS 17. The publication’s confirmation came from a OnePlus 13R running the Color OS 17 beta. The report described Pause Point as one of Google’s latest Digital Wellbeing tools.

Pause Point sits within Google’s Digital Wellbeing suite, which provides tools for users concerned about screen time. The suite is designed to help users manage distraction from smartphones, including heavy daily screen time. The latest report places Pause Point on non-Pixel hardware in the case observed.
