GTA 6 Leak Shows New Gameplay and Full Map; Hackers Demand Apology and Threaten More Leaks

According to Insider Gaming, the leaked footage appears to come from an older build, with reputable leaker Nate The Hate saying it is over a year old. Cyberleek claimed responsibility for the breach and released a manifesto protesting against Rockstar, demanding a public statement and apology. The group said it would keep leaking game material until its demands are met.

The manifesto's "commandments" include stopping the elimination of physical game discs pioneered by Sony and Rockstar, halting digital pre-orders altogether, preserving single-player content, and ending what it called "fake single-player DLC." Cyberleek's actions stem from a broader push against the move away from physical media and toward digital-only ownership.

This is the third major leak of GTA 6 in its buildup to launch. The first revealed very early unfinished gameplay, and the second unveiled the game's first trailer hours before its YouTube premiere. Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games have responded by striking multiple online posts across social media with DMCA takedowns.

Cyberleek suggested that its "commandments" are not exclusive to Rockstar, stating that other publishers and game developers are not safe from leaks. However, TechRadar notes that ransom demands are illegal and unlikely to make Rockstar or any other developer or publisher reconsider their policies. Fans may continue to protest for game preservation and ownership, but leaking is not the right way to do it.
