Harber London releases Venture Edition Roll Top backpack in recycled marine nylon
Harber London has launched a Venture Edition of its Roll Top backpack, handcrafted in Spain from SEAQUAL recycled marine nylon and full-grain leather. It weighs 1.05kg, holds 22 litres, and starts at £369, according to a TechRadar review.
The Venture Edition keeps the Roll Top shape but changes the material mix. The body is made from SEAQUAL yarn, a recycled nylon produced from reclaimed marine plastics that Harber treats to repel water, and the finished pack weighs 1.05kg (2.31lb). Full-grain leather is used for accents. According to TechRadar, the construction is intended for both travel and everyday use, with the nylon shell meant to keep contents dry.
The bag is currently offered only in black. It closes with a magnetic roll top that opens into a main compartment of about 22 litres, and two magnetic front buckles let the roll be adjusted or reopened quickly. Harber lists seven pockets in total, including a laptop compartment that TechRadar reports will hold devices with screens from 13in to 16in. That compartment closes with a water-repellent YKK zipper, and the interior pockets are lined in a lighter tone so contents are easier to locate.
Harber prices the backpack from £369 with free shipping, and ships worldwide. The company offers a one-year warranty and a 60-day return policy.
In the review, Mike Moore, deputy editor at TechRadar Pro, wrote that he travels frequently and was able to fit a laptop, a water bottle, charging cables, notebooks and snacks into the pack, with room left over. He described the shoulder straps as well padded and the roll top as making the load feel secure, and said the bag was quick to adjust. He also wrote that the build quality reflects hand assembly, a point he made about Harber products generally.
Harber London's backpacks and weekend bags have been reviewed favourably by TechRadar before, and the site positions them as a higher-priced option for business travellers. The Venture Edition is the latest addition to that line rather than a new product category. The review is based on the publication's own testing of a single unit, and Harber London has not issued a separate statement about the Venture Edition beyond the product listing on its site.
