Holafly launches Ultra eSIM plan with unlimited data and travel support

Holafly Ultra includes 24/7 medical and mental health consultations, automated claims management for delayed flights and lost luggage, a virtual location tool, local phone numbers based on the subscriber's destination, 2FA SMS support and a vet option. Holafly says the plan bundles 14 travel services. It is aimed at digital nomads, remote workers and frequent international travelers. Any phone with eSIM hardware can use a subscription, though users may need to check with their current mobile operator and the handset must be unlocked for use with any eSIM.

The company claims the plan can save subscribers as much as £1,387 a year. Holafly is selling the plan on the idea of eliminating the hassle of dealing with multiple services. It joins the lower-tier Light and Unlimited options, which remain on sale.

TechRadar reported that flight delays cost British holidaymakers an average of £603 per disruption, while 32% of people consider overseas healthcare too expensive to bother with. Holafly Ultra includes healthcare options among the 14 travel services it combines into the plan.

“Being able to work from anywhere does not mean everyday worries disappear,” Metin Kastro, the Chief Operating Officer at Holafly, said. “Getting sick, feeling overwhelmed or dealing with a cancelled flight can be harder when you are far from familiar support.”

Holafly says the plan extends a “promise of peace of mind, helping travellers stay online and giving them someone to turn to when they need support.” The Holafly Ultra plan is now available and can be purchased alongside the Light and Unlimited plans on the Holafly website.
