Humble Choice Packs Five Steam Games Into $14.99 as Valve Clears Out Index Stock

Humble Choice offers five Steam games for $14.99, Valve cuts leftover Index stock by 20 percent, and Borderlands 4 falls to $19.91.

The publication reported on the bundle on October 14 and said it had considered buying several of the titles individually on Steam. The membership also lowers the price of other digital games: Nintendo Switch 2 titles are discounted, with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time priced at $53.99 for members and most other full-price games about $6 below retail, according to the report.

Valve told The Verge in late 2025 that it had stopped manufacturing the wired Valve Index virtual reality headset, and the company is now working through its last stock at 20 percent off. The headset is listed at $399.20, down from $499; replacement left controllers at $119.20, down from $149; and replacement tether cables at $103.20, down from $129. The headset requires a base station to track, and those are no longer sold by Valve, leaving eBay and Craigslist as the remaining sources.

Borderlands 4 disc editions for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 are $19.91 at Amazon, down from a usual price of about $30 and the lowest price to date for the 2025 first-person looter shooter. The Verge said the game's co-operative multiplayer remains its strength even though the gameplay is fairly shallow.

The 4K Blu-ray release of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey can be preordered at a discount ahead of its November 17 launch. The set, which includes a 4K Blu-ray, a standard 1080p Blu-ray and a digital code for the film, is priced at $29.99 at Best Buy and $29.65 at Barnes and Noble, where members save an additional 10 percent, against an original price of $34.99. First-time buyers at Gruv can get it for $25.46 with the code FIRSTGRUV15 at checkout.
