Hyundai unveils All-New Tucson in New York, plans 100-plus new or refreshed models by 2030, 58 in North America.

At the premiere, Hyundai Motor CEO Jose Munoz said the company plans to launch more than 100 new and refreshed models globally by 2030. Of those, 58 will be for North America, he said.

For North America, the new Tucson will be offered with gasoline and hybrid powertrains. Hyundai will also offer the XRT Pro, an off-road-focused four-wheel-drive variant, in the region.

In South Korea, the SUV will be available with two powertrain options: a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine and a 1.6-liter turbo hybrid system.

Hyundai described the Tucson as its flagship midsize SUV. The model's unveiling took place during the world premiere event in New York. The company is seeking to expand its global presence with the next-generation vehicle and a broader product plan that includes the 2030 target for new and refreshed models.
