IDC: 360 Yifang Intelligent Ranks Second in China Private-Deployment Content and Knowledge Platform Market

IDC's 1H26 report said China's intelligent enterprise content and knowledge platform market reached RMB 1.086 billion, up 19.0%. 360 Yifang Intelligent ranked fourth overall and second in private deployment, growing 48.8%, the fastest among the top three private-deployment vendors listed by IDC.

IDC said enterprise demand is shifting from single-point purchases of enterprise network drives and content management to integrated construction of content management, knowledge management, and AI applications. Corporate files are being organized into knowledge assets that can be governed, searched, and called by AI. AI has become an important growth source for the market. Enterprise network drives and content management applications are supporting AI semantic understanding, intelligent classification, automated processes, and agent applications, while content management is moving from storage and retrieval toward insight and action.

360 Yifang Intelligent uses storage-intelligence integration to serve enterprise knowledge management and AI applications, focusing on private-domain knowledge governance, security permission systems, and AI knowledge bases. It helps enterprises organize scattered files, materials, and business experience into manageable, searchable, AI-callable knowledge assets. Its 360AI Enterprise Knowledge Base allows enterprises to manage knowledge materials in a unified environment and use semantic retrieval, intelligent Q&A, and knowledge assistants to help employees find information faster. Existing cloud drive customers can upgrade to the AI knowledge base, linking file management, knowledge understanding, and AI applications in daily work.

As the number of internal agents increases, unified knowledge management and authorized access have become new needs. 360 Yifang Intelligent is building a knowledge hub that organizes knowledge at the company, project, and personal levels and uses connectors to access work and business system data, so employees and agents can obtain needed information within authorization. For education, law, and other professional fields, it has launched industry products that organize industry materials, business rules, and expert experience into callable knowledge and combine industry skills and agent services for specific business scenarios. It has also developed product capabilities in precompiled LLM Wiki, ontology semantic layer, open knowledge formats, and agent-based automated knowledge governance.

Private deployment demand continues to grow. When enterprises use AI in core business, deployment environments often need to address data security, access permissions, compliance requirements, and system integration. IDC believes private deployment has become an important form for intelligent enterprise content and knowledge platforms to enter large clients, core business, and AI production scenarios. 360 Yifang Intelligent provides private-deployment-based AI knowledge base services for government, energy, manufacturing, universities, and other industries with high data security requirements. Its products use local delivery and support access to customers' own models, allowing enterprises to manage private-domain knowledge within their own data boundaries, configure usage permissions, and connect AI applications to existing business environments. The IDC report shows private market growth is faster than the public cloud SaaS market. Demand for local deployment is extending from file management to knowledge base construction, agent applications, and business collaboration.

IDC said government, manufacturing, education, and other industries are increasing demand for AI applications and private deployment. In government, 360 Yifang Intelligent serves Ningbo Beilun District Government, a provincial big data bureau, and other government clients in multiple regions, using policy documents, service guides, and business materials for intelligent Q&A, knowledge query, and standardized management to support policy services and government business. In education, it works with Zhejiang University, Xiamen University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, and more than 100 universities nationwide to build university AI knowledge hubs and agent application platforms for course teaching, administrative management, research innovation, campus services, admissions, and employment. In manufacturing, it helps Mande Electronics, Shanghai Electric, and other manufacturers manage drawings, process documents, project materials, and supply chain information on a unified platform, and use authorized knowledge in design, production, collaboration, and after-sales to improve material use and collaboration efficiency. In transportation, it helps an airline, Chongqing Rail Transit, and other transportation companies use AI knowledge bases and agents for operation support, equipment maintenance, professional material queries, and experience transfer.

IDC said competition is extending from single product functions to content management, AI understanding, multimodal processing, permission governance, and agent execution. Enterprises need to continuously manage knowledge and update it as business changes. As enterprise AI applications enter core business, knowledge will be called more frequently by employees and agents. 360 Yifang Intelligent will continue to serve enterprise knowledge management and business collaboration scenarios. The report data come from IDC's China Intelligent Enterprise Content and Knowledge Platform Market Share 1H26, September 2026. Fastest growth refers to the top three vendors in the private-deployment market listed in the IDC report. Leiphone reported the figures.
